Etherion Dragon Rig

🦎🐲 ETHERION DRAGON RIGπŸ¦‡πŸ¦–
One of my largest personal projects yet, this is my newest Dragon rig character, Etherion!
Starting from my drawings and illustrations, I created a low poly mesh in Autodesk Maya of a dragon I was inspired to make for my portfolio. I then took this mesh, subdivided it into several levels, and sculpted texture and detail from reference, while implementing my own style. I used this high-poly model as a displacement texture on a low-poly mesh, added color and texture through ZBrush PolyPaint, rigged this mesh in Maya, posed the character, and rendered it through BPR in ZBrush, plus a little Photoshop editing.
Next, I plan to texture the character further in Adobe Substance Painter, animate the character in Maya, and use this animated information as assets for the character once they are imported into Unreal Engine.
